Brantley Holmes is a board-certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. She comes to the Westwood Group with advanced training in the medical management of hormonal fluctuations that occur throughout a woman’s life as well as the medical management of obesity. Brantley has had over 10 years of active practice experience providing a full range of obstetric and gynecological care in several practices and agencies in the Richmond area.

Brantley provides care to adolescent and adult women in a comfortable, unhurried atmosphere where they consult about challenges that hormonal changes bring related to their mood, cycles, and sexual health. Brantley is passionate about providing this same kind of accepting, supportive atmosphere for adolescent and adult women who are seeking medical help for weight loss. These types of medical concerns can be complex and often are sensitive to discuss. Brantley approaches these concerns with compassion.

Brantley’s style is warm, informal, and encouraging. She is a wife and working mother and she understands many of the challenges and choices confronting her patients.

Brantley is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, National Association of Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health, North American Menopause Society, Obesity Medicine Association, Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, International Society for the Study of Women’s Sexual Health, Virginia Council of Nurse Practitioners.
